We focus on providing performance materials for British music between AD 1700 and 1820, in reasonably-priced editions.  These editions have been used in performances and CD recordings since 1992, and they are based on extensive research.  If what you require is not listed here, please contact us in case we can supply what you need, or point you in the right direction.

This website is named after Thomas Linley the younger (1756-1778); Mozart himself called him a "true genius."    Performance materials for all his surviving works can be obtained here, in a unique  complete critical edition.    In addition, primary source material, covering the reception of his music, and contemporary biographical details of his life, are also presented.   We also present critical editions of other composers' work: a complete edition of Haydn's London 'cellist, Johan Arnold Dahmen,   and works by Thomas Arne, Thomas Attwood, William Boyce, James Brooks, Willem de Fesch, James Hook, William Jackson of Exeter, Thomas Linley the elder, George Rush, Thomas Shaw, J.C. Smith the younger, Stephen Storace , Samuel Webbe the younger and Samuel Wesley.
